  1. Unfortunately, this is not a real fix. When you hit a page with a quicktime link, it will turn off Vistas Aero theme until the browser is closed, which is really, REALLY annoying. Also, Firefox is designed to work well with 64bit OSes, and disabling that makes it pretty chunky. Still looking for a real fix…

    Note that in Windows 7, you can set it for Vista SP2 compatibility as well.
  3. Hmm good to know, I am using Windows 7 right now on a computer that normally doesnt support it.. and everything works except sound. Good thing it’s my step dads computer and not mine, ordered a usb sound stick to fix that ($25) but I have a windows 7 laptop coming in (Dell XPS 1340) and it should work out of the box, will note the Vista SP2 compatability. Apple just has to fix the damn problem with Firefox’s compatability with Quicktime.. DAMNIT.
