Normally, blogging was just a regular thing that started in the late 1990′s, when Jom Barger coined the term “weblog” on December 17th of 1997. He “jokingly” broke the words weblog into the phrase. So the beginning of the newest millenium of 2000 was a big booming year of blogs that began. You can read more on that history here. Ever since that time, or more specifically in 2003, advertising like Adsense has been helping bloggers make revenue from their content on their blogs. It is said that Facebook could take over Adsense, but you know what?, I disagree. Of course Facebook has the advantage with having over 900 million users, though they would have to create an advertising program like Adsense outside of their own site, displaying advertisements next to content on regular websites, blogs etc. It’s hard not to see a “Facebook fan page” anywhere on any website these days, but they’ve got work to do on that. Anyways, let’s get started on Blogging…
1) Here’s the first step towards getting into Blogging
You need to find a domain name first, because owning your own domain and hosting is usually the only smart route to take when blogging specifically for creating your own “business”. People call it a business at it is something that you create that generates revenue. But to me it’s like someone opening up a retail store in a small space in a mini-mall, so the wording “business” doesn’t fit my wording in saying what this is and what your really doing, you can call it that if you want though.

Checkout Godaddyand do a search for a domain until you find one that is not taken, that is available, and go from there. But make sure you do this while getting a “hosting package” with it. So the best option is probably to click on a hosting package first, which usually comes with a domain with it.

Also, usually the more you pay for a hosting package the faster your site will load, which I noticed recently with Godaddy. Alot of bloggers out there, all recommend something different. So you can’t really say which hosting company out there is the “best”, and we all have our preferences.
2) Now to install WordPress
You’ll probably need some assistance with it though.

It may be best to watch the video below this very test to get started, but once I am finished my own video I’ll show it in this article:
3) Log into your WordPress blog
Now go to your site URL with this on the end: “/wp-admin”, so say your site was “http://www.mywordpresssite.com“, it would be “http://www.mywordpresssite.com/wp-admin“.
So you can basically try and get used to how WordPress runs, and see how much you can customize it. Installing WordPress plugins is like installing any application on your computer through some sort of Application Market, or like on Facebook, or on your Phone. You will get to that later though, I used to to integrate social media and advertisements. Other stuff I used plugins for, that makes my site work like it does now, and without those plugins my site would be nothing but a plain old boring blog with just text articles on it.
You can now start writing your posts, and it’s pretty straight forward. You’ll get used to the controls overtime.

How much do I need to invest to start a blog of my own with my own domain?. It’s around $10/Month. I think of it in a way like, how easily to I spend $10 on lunch per day?, very easily.
