A new iOS-controlled LED light bulb that can pretty much light up any color and also personalize your lighting experience with even more of a wide array of dimmer and also scheduling options is being revealed by Philips themselves, and it may just be the light bulb that Apple will be using in their retail stores nationwide.

Philips hue can be setup in minutes. The intuitive app allows you to remotely control your home lighting to help secure your home, personalize your home lighting experience with custom settings and program timers to help manage your daily schedules, all through the convenience of a smart device. An intuitive and seamless system, Philips hue is upgradeable and future-proof, with the potential for more features to be downloaded and enjoyed in the future.
Newer features are also being worked on like the geo-location to automatically turn lights off or on when the users are entering or leaving their homes. They are also working on combining other media features that include sound and video too.
These bulbs will be exclusively sold through Apple’s Stores starting tommorow. It’s $199 for three light bulbs and also the wireless link that supports up to 50 light bulbs. More bulbs are also available for $59 each too.
Apple has been reaching out for app-enabled accessories for iOS in their online and offline retail stores. They already have offered new products like the varied thermostats, blood pressure monitors, weight scales, and also a meat thermometer and last but not least a pet-tracking GPS collar.
