Soo, you wanna either sell or buy your College textbooks online. Well this is how you do it.
If you want to sell…
The sites you need to check out and you must choose what works for you.
- Amazon is an option, just like eBay you can list your used books on Amazon, and you have a good chance at targeted customers purchasing your books for good prices.
- Ebay is another option, but I think there are more people looking on Amazon for their books, as Amazon is known to sell lots and lots of books where eBay reaches out to a much more broad audience covering all categories of things to sell, making books being a smaller category for them. But then again there is something called Half.com (an eBay company), where they buy your book, movie, game, or what ever by giving you your money in just a few days. They list your item for you basically and the money from the sale goes to you.
There is also some other sites for this purpose that are not as big as Amazon:
But I recommend to stick with the best, and Amazon is where I would go, personally.
If you want to buy College textbooks online…
First you need to know from your teacher of what the exact name of the book is. Then take that title and search on eBay (you never know, you can find better prices on used books on eBay than Amazon). Also Google search the title and make sure your searching sites within your country, that option is somewheres on the left side of the search results window in Google. Search like a dog for this information, because in the end you will save lots of money on an investment for your future education.
Here is a link to Amazon if you don’t care about any of this when buying used textbooks.
Your odds of finding your textbook cheaper online compared to your schools prices is pretty good, I think. So when you don’t need them anymore, just come back here and follow the steps in the top column of this article and do it all over again!.
I still think actual textbooks will be around for a very long time, because not every student can afford an iPad. Unless, overtime iPads get cheaper and Colleges start providing them to students for a cheaper price or for free as a part of what ever course.
On a side note, if you REALLY want an iPad you should check out these listings on eBay and just get a first generation model.
